What Happens If My Pet Gets Sick Before I Enroll?
Any health issue that occurs before you buy pet insurance is considered pre-existing and will not be covered.

This includes:
· Diagnosed conditions (like diabetes, allergies)
· Undiagnosed symptoms (vomiting, limping, etc.)
· Historical treatment for the same issue
Some “curable” pre-existing conditions (like ear infections or bladder issues) may be covered again after a 6–12 month symptom-free period. Chronic conditions, however, are typically excluded for life.
Insurance is meant for future risks, so early enrollment—especially for young, healthy pets—is key to maximizing coverage.
